Palantir Makes Software Independence Part of Its Military AI

Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR) says its Maven Smart System is designed without a remote switch that would allow the company to disable deployed software. Customers retain control of the system after installing it in their technology environment.

Locally approved personnel can continue operating Maven without direct involvement from Palantir or the U.S. government.

The design reduces dependence on the software provider after deployment and keeps operational authority with the organization using the platform.

AI Connects Military Data

Maven processes large volumes of battlefield information collected from sensors and other approved data sources. The software organizes those feeds into a clearer operational picture that can support planning and faster decision-making.

Its AI capabilities help identify relevant information across data streams that would take human teams much longer to review manually.

Palantir has built the system as operational software for military commands rather than a general-purpose AI assistant.

Customer Control Becomes a Technical Feature

Questions about dependence on American technology have increased pressure on software companies to explain who controls deployed systems. Palantir is responding by making operational independence central to Maven’s architecture.

The company still provides implementation, maintenance, and technical support, but it says control remains with the customer.

Palantir is turning software sovereignty from a policy promise into a feature built directly into its military AI platform.

Oracle Builds AI Agent Studio for Industry-Specific Work

Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL) has announced AI Agent Studio for Industry Applications, a platform for creating, testing, deploying, and managing AI agents.

Companies can build agents around specialized processes in construction, retail, finance, utilities, government, communications, restaurants, and hospitality.

The platform combines natural-language instructions with a visual workflow editor. Development teams can define each agent’s responsibilities, tools, operating rules, and access to company information without building every component from scratch.

Agents Can Work Across Applications

Oracle is equipping the platform with prebuilt agents, templates, workflows, and reusable tools for common industry operations. Companies can modify those foundations using their own data, policies, approval systems, and business requirements.

Support for Model Context Protocol allows approved agents to connect with Oracle application tools through standardized servers.

Multi-agent orchestration can then coordinate several agents across Oracle Industry Applications, Fusion Applications, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Controls Follow Every Deployment

Testing and debugging tools will let developers inspect how agents respond, which tools they select, and what actions they attempt before deployment.

Monitoring features will track execution, performance, reliability, resource consumption, and AI-unit usage after deployment.

Oracle is also applying permissions, organizational roles, operating policies, and security controls to agent activity. The platform is planned for U.S. availability within the next 12 months, with additional Oracle Cloud regions expected to follow.

NVIDIA Finds a Faster Way to Bring AI Computing Online

NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) has introduced DSX POD, a modular design for complete Vera Rubin AI factories assembled inside purpose-built containers. The systems are integrated, tested, and validated before being transported to a prepared data center site.

Each unit combines computing racks, networking equipment, cabling, rack-level power, and liquid-cooling infrastructure. Operators can connect the completed system to the site’s electricity, cooling, networking, and supporting equipment after delivery.

Six Months Shrinks to Two Weeks

NVIDIA says conventional AI infrastructure can take about six months to deploy after reaching a data center. DSX POD could reduce deployment at a prepared site to as little as 14 days.

Moving integration into a controlled manufacturing facility allows construction and system assembly to happen at the same time.

Factory testing also reduces the risk of cabling mistakes, missing components, installation delays, and complicated technical work at the final location.

Vera Rubin Gets a Modular Delivery System

DSX POD is built around NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin computing platform and the broader DSX infrastructure architecture. The design creates a repeatable system that manufacturers can produce, transport, and install across multiple locations.

NVIDIA expects technology and infrastructure companies to begin delivering the modular AI factories worldwide in early 2027.

The approach gives NVIDIA another way to accelerate the physical construction behind large-scale model training and production inference.

The open question is whether on-premises sales like this become repeatable revenue. The stock sits near its 52-week low after a roughly 70% slide from its high, and Q3 results are expected in early November. Size it as a venture-style position.
